RULES AND REGULATION
Rules and regulations are subject to change.
Total Slots: 7 (Boys) & 7 (Girls)
1. Team Formation
Only 6 players are allowed on court at a time (3 front row, 3 back row).
1 substitute is permitted.
All team members must wear identical jerseys.
2. Reporting Time
Teams must report 30 minutes before their scheduled match. Failure to arrive within 3 minutes after the final call will result in disqualification.
3. Scoring System
Matches follow rally-point scoring, where points are awarded on every serve won.
Matches consist of sets as decided by the organizers.
A deciding set will be played in case of a 1–1 tie.
4. Gameplay Rules
A player cannot hit the ball twice consecutively (blocks are not counted as hits).
The ball may touch the net during volleys or serves.
A ball touching the boundary line is considered in.
A ball is out if it hits the antenna, referee stand/pole, or ceiling in a non-playable area.
Serves passing around the antenna without contact are valid.
The ball may be contacted with any part of the body, but catching, holding, or throwing is prohibited.
Front-row players may switch positions after the serve.
5. Dress Code & Equipment
Only soft-sole shoes and proper sports attire are allowed on court.
Jewellery (earrings, rings, chains, bracelets, etc.) is strictly prohibited during matches.
6. Participation Limits
Maximum Teams: 7 (Boys) and 7 (Girls).
7. Rules Authority
Detailed playing rules will be declared on the spot by the referee, and their decision will be final.
Rules of Conduct
Players and managers must not insult, abuse, or assault match officials. Violations will lead to strict disciplinary action.
Any damage to venue property will result in monetary penalties.
All participants must uphold fair play and sportsmanship.
Safety Measures
Teams are advised to bring their own first aid kit.
Organizers will provide first aid support for minor injuries (bruises, sprains, cuts, etc.).
