Street Drama/Play Event – Rules & Regulations

1. A maximum of 1 team per college can participate in the event.

2. The theme of the event is open for the participating team.

3. The script can be in English, Hindi, or Bengali.

4. Each team must consist of a maximum of 15+2 members, including the light, sound, and backstage managers.

5. A total time limit of 30+5 minutes per team will be allotted for their presentation (including stage setup).

6. Prerecorded background scores are allowed, but all narrations must be done live on stage. The prerecorded music list must be submitted to the host college beforehand.

7. The host college will provide 2 tables and 2 chairs as props for any participating college. Any extra requirement should be notified by the team with prior notice and is subject to availability.

8. Props must be brought by the participating college itself. No liquid, glass, powdered elements, sharp, or inflammable objects are allowed on stage.

9. No unparliamentary, derogatory, or inappropriate content or any blasphemy hurting the sentiments of any political party or religion is allowed during the performance. This may lead to negative marking or disqualification.

10. The time limit must be strictly followed by the participating teams.

11. The host college takes no responsibility for the loss of any valuables or props brought by the participating team.

12. The team will be judged based on content, originality, acting, clarity, presentation, team coordination, and time management.

13. The judge’s decision will be final and binding.

14. If all the rules & regulations provided above are not followed, the team will face immediate disqualification.
