Nrityadhwani – The Resonance of Dance is a vibrant group dance competition celebrating rhythm, harmony, and collective expression. Set against the energetic backdrop of the college fest, the event brings together talented dancers who blend tradition and innovation through synchronized movements, storytelling, and musicality. Each performance showcases unity, discipline, and creativity, transforming the stage into a powerful expression of culture, emotion, and the true spirit of dance.

RULES AND REGULATION

Rules and regulations are subject to change.

THEME: (Epic & Legendary – Classical)


1. Participant List

Final team list must be submitted at least 8 days prior to the event. Changes will be allowed only under exceptional circumstances with valid proof and prior approval from the event heads.


2. Team Strength

Each team must have a minimum of 8 participants and a maximum of 14 participants. Only one team per college is allowed.


3. Music Policy

Use of Bollywood music in any form, segment, remix, or version is strictly prohibited.


4. Code of Conduct

Performances, music, movements, and costumes must follow university guidelines and must not include obscenity, vulgarity, or offensive content. Any violation may lead to immediate disqualification.


5. Reporting Time

Participants must strictly adhere to the reporting time provided by the organizers. Late reporting may result in deduction of marks or disqualification.


6. Backing Tracks

Teams must submit their music tracks 8 days in advance and must also carry a pen drive on the event day. All tracks will be screened by the organizing committee.


7. Props

Teams must arrange and remove their own props immediately after the performance. Inflammable, sharp, or hazardous objects are strictly prohibited. Organizers are not responsible for any loss or damage.


8. Judging Criteria

Judgment will be based on:

  • Rhythm & Synchronisation

  • Expression & Abhinaya

  • Choreography & Formation

  • Grace, Technique & Posture

  • Overall Impact & Stage Presence

9. Judges’ Decision

The decision of the judges will be final and binding. No arguments, reviews, or appeals will be entertained after the declaration of results.


10. Costume Guidelines

Costumes must be appropriate, theme-based (Epic & Legendary – Classical), and decent in nature.


11. Time Limit

Time Limit: 5+1. Each team must adhere to the time limit specified by the organizing committee. Exceeding the time limit may result in negative marking.


12. Disqualification Clause

Teams may face disqualification under the following circumstances:

  • Failure to comply with the prescribed dance style or category guidelines

  • Use of inappropriate, offensive, or objectionable music, movements, or costumes

  • Involvement in misconduct, indiscipline, or unethical behavior

13. Promotion & Creative Usage

Clubs must use only the official creative/poster provided by the Organizing Committee for promotion. Designing or circulating any unapproved promotional material is strictly prohibited.
