RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Maximum number of players allowed per team = 5 + 3 players

2. The balls provided by the university shall be used in the competition.

3. Each team should arrive at the venue 15 minutes before their scheduled time. The team will be disqualified if they do not arrive within 2 minutes after the final call.

4. In case of a tie, extra time of 1 minute will be provided and if the tie persists, the team with fewer fouls will be declared the winner of that match.

5. In case of dispute, only captains are allowed to speak with the referee and the management team.

6. No removable jewellery such as earrings/chains/rings will be allowed during the match.

7. Official scorekeeper must be notified before a substitution can be made, which will be allowed in all dead ball situations.

8. Only soft sole shoes should be worn on court to avoid damage to the court. Players won’t be allowed on court without proper shoes.

9. Water bottles, bags, or other personal belongings cannot be brought inside the court.

10. Nails should not be long and hair should be tied.

11. The tournament shall be conducted according to the rules of the Basketball Federation of India, unless, otherwise, modified in these rules.

Important: The entire team should have an identical jersey.
