TraceQuest 2.0

🤖⚡ Precision, speed, and innovation—**TraceQuest 2.0** puts your robots to the ultimate test! 🚀🔍

Event Type: Group/Team | Minimum Participants: 1 | Maximum Participants: 3 | Registration Fees: Rs. 100/- | Date of Event: 5th March, 2025

RULES:

  • Track Design: Robots must follow a black line on a white surface. The  track may include sharp turns, intersections, and obstacles that robots  must navigate.

  • Robot Specifications: Participants can use custom-built robots but must  follow size and weight restrictions (e.g., no larger than a specific  dimension or heavier than a certain weight). The robot must be fully  autonomous, with no external control or manual guidance during the race.

  • Sensors: Robots must be equipped with sensors (e.g., infrared or  optical) to detect the line. No external cameras or GPS systems are  allowed.  Speed and Precision: Robots will be timed based on how quickly and  accurately they follow the track. Any deviation from the line, such as  going off-course, may lead to penalties or disqualification.  Obstacle Handling: Some tracks may include obstacles or other challenges  that robots need to avoid or overcome. Robots must not damage the track  or other participants' robots.

  • Testing and Qualification: Robots typically undergo a preliminary  testing phase to ensure they meet all the competition’s technical and  safety standards.

  • Judging Criteria: The winner is determined by the robot that completes  the track in the shortest time without significant errors, such as  getting stuck or losing the line for too long.
