Step Up Showdown: An electrifying battle of rhythm and moves in a high-energy Western dance showdown! 🔥💃🕺

Event Type: Group/Team | Minimum Participants: 10 | Maximum Participants: 15 | Registration Fees: Rs. 500/- | Date of Event: 6th March, 2025


General Rules & Guidelines

1. Team Composition:Each team must have a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 participants.

2. Performance Duration:The performance should be between 5 to 7 minutes. Exceeding or failing to meet the time limit may result in negative marking.

3. Music Submission:Teams must submit their final music track at least 2 days prior to the event. Last-minute changes will not be entertained.

4. Stage Setup & Clearance:Teams will be given 1 minute for stage setup and 30 seconds to clear the stage after the performance. Exceeding this limit may lead to disqualification.

5. Props & Safety:The use of hazardous props or risky stunts without prior approval from the organizers is strictly forbidden. Violation may lead to disqualification.

6. Dance Styles:Teams must adhere to recognized Western dance styles (for the Western category) and Indian classical/folk styles (for the Eastern category). Mixing of genres beyond the category may result in a deduction in marks.

7. Song Selection:Songs with inappropriate lyrics or themes will not be allowed. Teams should ensure their music choice aligns with the event guidelines.

8. Judging Criteria:Teams will be judged on choreography, synchronization, creativity, stage presence, and overall impact.

9. Attire & Costumes:Costumes must be appropriate for the performance and should not contain any offensive or inappropriate elements.

10. Disqualification Rules:Violation of any of the above rules, misconduct, or unsportsmanlike behavior may lead to immediate disqualification.

11. Final Decision:The decision of the judges and event organizers will be final and binding.
